About Confab

Confab is a content strategy conference for people who care about making content better, in their organizations and for their clients. And no, you don’t have to be a content strategist to attend! We welcome professionals from all disciplines who plan, design, build, and manage content.

Registration cost and payment

How much does Confab cost?

Tickets cost between $595 and $1,999, depending on when you register and which ticket type you select. Early registration makes a difference—not only in terms of cost, but also because seats often sell out in advance. But even our fanciest, last-minute prices—plus extra workshops!—have never gone higher than $2,099.

What does my registration fee include?

Registering for Confab gets you access to one of the industry’s leading content strategy conferences, plus:

  • Daily breakfast and lunch, as well as our legendary morning and afternoon snack spreads
  • Free Wi-Fi throughout the conference area, plus dedicated quiet rooms to catch up on work
  • A relaxed, welcoming conference party with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a free drink ticket
  • Exclusive discounted room rates at the conference hotel
  • Post-conference archives of all available slides (and some video recordings)

How can I pay for Confab?

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. The full conference fee is due at the time of registration. If you choose the “pay by check” option, your check is due within 14 days of registration. Make checks payable to: Brain Traffic, 615 First Avenue NE, Suite 475, Minneapolis, MN 55413.

Can my team register for Confab as a group?

Why, yes! Confab is a great place to get your team collaborating and talking about content strategy in a whole new way. Registering a group of three or more? Email us at info@confabevents.com to get a special code to receive an extra 10% off.

What discounts are available?

Besides the 10% group discount, you’ll hear about temporary sales and special discounts via our mailing list. We work hard to keep our ticket prices low, including early-bird prices that give you up to $300 off. And if you work at a nonprofit, you never have to pay a higher fee than the early-bird price—just get in touch for a special code.

Conference policies

Can I cancel or transfer my registration if I can’t attend?

Yes, up until three weeks before the event. Just get in touch with us at info@confabevents.com, and we’ll take care of you.

You can also cancel your registration if there’s no one to send in your place. If you cancel within 48 hours of registering, you’ll receive a full refund. After the 48-hour grace period (up until three weeks before the event), you’ll receive a refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. If you need to cancel, just let us know at info@confabevents.com.

If it’s less than three weeks before the event, we’re sorry to say we can’t cancel or transfer your registration or issue a refund.

Do you have a code of conduct?

Yes, we do. People tell us that Confab is one of the friendliest, most welcoming conferences they’ve ever attended, and our code of conduct helps us keep it that way.
